Sure, the concept of people spying on you and having a live stream through cameras and what not is creepy, but it’s not anything we haven’t seen before on other shows or movies. Unfortunately, the rest of the episode wasn’t as exciting or interesting as those last moments of the hour. Tom managed to escape death, but just barely. In fact, it makes me wonder which of the regular characters might find themselves in the crosshairs next? But I wouldn’t be surprised for things to come crashing down and get even more complicated and twisted. It’s tragic in a way though, that Liz hoping to have a simple life and choosing to keep the baby (and presumably Tom) seems like a happy and plausible future for her. There’s certainly been some friction of late, but would there be an even greater divide if Katarina reveals some particular truth? There’s definitely some exciting possibilities, and I can only hope that we get some answers before the season has concluded. There they learn of the group’s plans to plant bombs and steal the head of John the Baptist. Ressler and Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) find the SPK’s hidden meeting spot. In the meantime, the SPK plot to blow up a church with IEDs. Vesco explains that he conned the group into criminal activity, making them believe that he burns the artifacts as an offering at the altar. Vesco is Red’s former mentor who stole quite a bit of money from him. The leader is revealed to be a man named Giovanni, aka Robert Vesco (Stacey Keach). Red attends an auction and bids $5 million on the belt to arrange a meeting with the leader of the SPK.
